Questions
What to expect
Does it cost anything?
No. Every service 4 Hearts provides is completely free.
Who can get help?
Anyone in Starkville and the Golden Triangle (Oktibbeha, Lowndes and Clay counties) who needs help finding or accessing resources. You don't have to qualify for anything to talk to us.
Is my information private?
Yes. What you share is used only to help connect you with services, and we never sell or publish it. With your permission, we may share details with the specific agency we're referring you to so you don't have to repeat your story.
What should I have ready?
Nothing is required to start. If you have them, a photo ID, proof of income and recent bills can speed up applications later, but we'll tell you exactly what each program needs.
How quickly will someone respond?
We're a volunteer team, and we aim to respond within 1–2 business days. If you're in immediate danger, call 911.
